Giving Day

MVNU Giving Day is a 24-hour, online fundraising event where alumni, parents, staff, family, and community come together to support the university. This collaboration will provide funds to develop, inspire, equip, and support the next generation of vocational leaders, practitioners, stewards, and ambassadors.

MVNU Giving Day 2022 is September 29. However, you may give anytime throughout the year by using the Give Now link on this web page.

During MVNU Giving Day, we focus all of our development and advancement efforts toward direct and indirect support of student needs through the University Fund. Unfunded scholarships are awarded through the proceeds of this day. Student-related emergency needs are met through this campaign. Enhancements to campus life activities and events are funded (in-part) through this event.

In the weeks leading up to Giving Day, we will share stories of how the University Fund has been used to help students in their spiritual, emotional, and vocational growth while at MVNU. This year our goal is to engage with at least 1,000 supporters to help students when and where they need it the most.

You can get involved in these two main ways:

Make a financial donation on Giving Day. Of course, we will accept your gifts before, during, and after; however, the point of making this a special day on campus, and across the MVNU family and community, is to generate energy and enthusiasm to help build the University Fund. The University Fund provides the university with the greatest flexibility to help, to enhance, to encourage, and to equip students and their experiences at MVNU.

Spread the word about MVNU Giving Day 2022 (#MVNUGIVINGDAY). Share your excitement about helping future leaders, practitioners, and ambassadors to have the most authentic Christ-centered college experience possible. Forward promotional emails you may receive. Like and share social media posts, even challenge your friends and fellow alumni to give back to the place that made such a difference in your life, the life of your friends, parents, or kids!

Your gift can help a struggling student with appropriate resources and support and enhance MVNU's ability to inspire and equip students seeking to live-out God's call on their lives.

Yes - absolutely! You do not have to wait until September 29 to help our students. You can donate now and still be included in the total amount raised on Giving Day. You will receive a confirmation receipt to the email address you provide when you complete your donation.

Yes, it is. You will receive an email confirmation and a calendar year giving statement for tax reporting purposes.

Yes! Our website offers the highest security for online gift giving. MVNU is committed to ensuring and securing the privacy of your information.

No. The information collected during this event will only be used by MVNU. It will not be sold or shared with third-party vendors.

The matching funds kick in after every 20 donors contribute to Giving Day. For every 20 donors, $1,000 will be added to the day’s total, up to $50,000. The funds for 2022 have been provided by a generous donor who wants to inspire others to begin or continue making gifts to MVNU.
