Bill Bridges joined a faculty of 18 members in 1968, just prior to the opening of Mount Vernon Nazarene College. He followed the same promise, the same belief, and the same call to be a part of history ‑ something so much bigger than himself ‑ that resonated with pioneering faculty and staff and the true “heroes” as he calls them – the Pioneer Class of MVNC. His story, the MVNC story, will not only pull you into our history, but will open the doors to your future.

Michael Grenier (’13)

A business management degree from MVNU allowed Michael to put his best socked foot forward when launching his business, Keep It Simple Socks.

Brooklyn Lindsey (’01)

As a pastoral ministry student at MVNU, Lindsey grew in her faith through seeking to serve. Those lessons, and her academic track, prepared her to serve as a global justice advocate for the Church of the Nazarene.

Konrod Morris (’03)

Basketball brought Konrod from Jamaica to Mount Vernon. What he found was more than a team, he found a family who helped him excel academically and personally, and guided his spiritual walk with God.
